You were such a beautiful person and I think part of your beauty was that you left an impression on everyone you met, you were such an honest, open and loving person and would never hurt anyone.

from the time we stole a cockerel from Kieren’s farm when we were drunk and took it to my house only to wake up hungover thinking “what the hell is making that noise”. To our appearance on TVs worst show “Brits in Croatia”, where you made me reluctantly spend all of my savings.

You had so much more to give and you will leave a joel sized hole in our hearts forever, but I guess sometimes stars shine so bright they burn before their time. I have created memories with you which I will cherish forever.
